Level 1 is called Shoden. The first teachings.
Level 2 is Okuden. Oku means inner, hidden, deep. Den means transmission, what passes from teacher to student.Â
The inner teachings - the part of Reiki that was never written down for the public, that only ever moved from one pair of hands to the next.
That is what you receive in this course.

Here, Reiki stops being something you do in the room you are standing in. You reach across the distance.Â
You learn to go back in time into what shaped you, and forwards into what is coming.Â
You work on the mental and emotional layer, where the real patterns sit. You balance these two sides of yourself that have been running unevenly for years.
This is also the level that makes you a practitioner, if that is where you want to take it.Â
And it is the prerequisite for Shinpiden, the Master teachings.

The 3 Symbols, And What Each One Actually Does

Level 1 is self-regulation.Â
Level 2 is total energetic mastery - giving you the exact tools to heal clients, send energy anywhere, and expand your container.
The symbols are mantras. Not decoration on Pinterest nor an affirmation you write out. Â
Each one is a specific tool that does a specific thing, and once they are yours you have them for life.
The first symbol - power
This one amplifies. Everything you already do with your hands gets stronger and lands faster.
You will notice it immediately. The session you give yourself before bed goes deeper in half the time.Â
The person you work on stops saying that was nice and starts saying what did you just do.
The second symbol - mental and emotional
This symbol works on the mental and emotional layer - the unseen engine behind your decisions, wealth, and relationships.Â
It integrates your analytical drive with your intuitive intelligence, expanding your capacity to receive, hold, and command more without hitting an energetic ceiling.
The third symbol - distance
This one collapses linear time and space.
Across space: you send Reiki to your mother in another country, to your friend in another room, to a client who is not physically with you.
Across time, backwards: you work on what happened to you years ago, at the level where your body is still holding it. An old hurt. The thing that shaped you. The moment you have never quite put down.
Across time, forwards: you send Reiki to what is coming. A surgery, an upcoming interview. A hard conversation. And even to a relationship. It arrives before you do.

Okuden moves more than Shoden did. You have three new tools and a wider channel, and the body responds to that.

I am a 4th generation Usui Reiki Master Teacher, trained under three Usui Masters across both the traditional Japanese and Western lineages tracing directly back to Mikao Usui.
After building established practices in Hong Kong - where I was nominated for Best Alternative Healer at the Liv Media Wellness Awards - and later in Amsterdam, I now work with students and private clients worldwide. Across my career, I have worked and trained closely with over 1,800 clients and students in live rooms.
I also mentor women privately at €5,000 a month. This course brings that exact unbroken lineage directly to you, filmed properly, so you can receive an authentic transmission wherever you are in the world.
Bonita’s work is grounded in over 20 years of study in spiritual traditions and energy medicine, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Religious Studies.
