BONITA'S STORY
I spent years not knowing who I was.
Which meant my husband could not fully show up for me, because I could not show up for myself. I was confusing to understand. He could not satisfy me because I did not know what I needed. That created years of tension, conflict, and disconnection inside a marriage I loved.
I looked like the woman who had it all together. Six-figure career. Committed partner. Yoga practice going back to 2005.
And underneath all of it, I was pouring a glass of wine most nights. Not because I wanted to. Because my nervous system was so braced I did not know how to rest without it.
I had been meditating since I was six years old. Done years of real healing work. And I was still performing ease instead of feeling it. Still saying yes when my body said no. Still offering support when what I actually wanted was to be held.
By 2014, my body stopped pretending. I developed hypothyroidism. My menstrual cycle stopped. For ten years.
Nothing was wrong with me. My body was running a survival pattern that no amount of insight had actually reached.
Everything I understood in my mind was right. My body just had not caught up yet. And that gap, between what I knew and what my body could access, cost me ten years.
The shift came through deep Reiki and root-cause energetic work. My cycle returned. And everything I had understood in my mind finally started living in my body.
That understanding became Divine Femme.
And then something else happened.
I kept building. I kept expanding. And I discovered that the next level did not require more healing. It required me to meet the parts of myself I had abandoned to get here.
The softness I had dropped because it looked like weakness. The receiving I had stopped because it felt like cheating. The visibility without the armour I had never fully trusted.
Those were the shadows of my own success. And they were the exact keys to the level I was trying to reach.
That is how the Empress was born. Not from my healing. From my expansion. From recognising that the strategy I was most proud of was the thing keeping the next level from landing.
I have been inside this work for over a decade. I trained in two Japanese Reiki lineages and am a 4th generation Usui Reiki Master Teacher. I combine shadow work, subconscious reprogramming, somatic experiencing, ancestral healing, and energy recoding.
This is not modality work. This is root work. And the results look like a life that finally feels as good to live inside as it looks from the outside.
